Hardest redpoint (grade, location & name)- Liquid Amber 1990 Pen Trywn North Wales, it seem undoubtedly 8c+ making the first or maybe Samson 'Burbage South'.

Hardest on-sight (grade, location & name)- Pol Pot 7c+ in 84 world previous hardest on-sight was 7b+ or Equinox 12 c/d in 82.

Hardest boulder problem (grade, location & name)- Superman (CragX) 8a+ in 88. I've done harder since but that was a first of its grade as was 'Dominator' at 8b in (93? not sure of year).

Favourite crag and why- Pen Trywn I started climbing hard there, it's quiet and has great rock.

Favourite bouldering area and why- Camp 4 Yosemite because its not chipped or crowded its perfect granite in an amazing setting.

Favourite film of all time- Clockwork Orange.

What was the last book you read was it any good? The Pagan Religions of the Ancient British Isles Nature and Legacy. Interesting but not finished reading it.

What song can you not get out of your head? I hear bells then gun shots.
What was the most memorable day of your life? 21st birthday flashed 7c+ and on-sighted a 7b and 7b+.
